Athena's Greek name is Athena and her Roman name is Minerva. Athena's name began being used in Ancient Greece. She is the goddess of wisdom, war, the arts, industry, justice, and skill. Athena spends most of her time in Mount Olympus.

Athena's grandparents are Cronus and Rhea, and her parets are Zues and Metis. Athena did not have siblings, but she did have half siblings. An example of these are Aphrodite, Apollo, Artemis, and Ares. Athena was never maried, but there is a possibility that she could have been married to Hephaestus. Athena also had a adopted son. His name was Erechtheus.

Athena did not have a normal birth. It all started when Zeus swallowed Metis after he discovered that the child they were going to have would eventually overthrow him. After he swallowed her, he discovered that she was already pregnant with Athena. Eventually, Athena sprung, fully grown, out of her father's forehead, because of this, Athena did not have an infancy or a childhood. Athena spend her life as an adult protecting and allowing a suffering hero to go back home to his family.

If I were to picture Athena, her hair would be brown and she would be pretty too. Her eyes would be blue and in her hands, she would be holding a shield and a spear, as she did in her birth. In her dress, she would have the symbol of an Olive tree, she would also be skinny. In her wrists, she would be wearing arm braces with a symbol of an owl in the middle. Her legs would be strong and she would be wearing gold colored sandals that reach to her knees.

Athena had and still has many festivals. The Athena festival is a festival that still exists. Panathenaea is a festival that doesn't exist anymore. Athena shared this festival with Polias and her Adopted son Erechtheus.

There are many important myths about Athena. The one I will tell you about tells the story of a conceded Goddess by the name of Medusa, who thought to be the most beautiful maiden in all the land. It all started in Athena's temple, Parthenon, where Medusa was bragging and boasting her beauty in a mirror. Athena was angry at Medusa for thinking she was the most beautiful, so she turned Medusa into a hideous monster that had snaky hair and ugly features. Athena also said that everytime someone looked at Medusa, that person would be turned into stone. Also, if Medusa looked at herself, she too would be turned into stone. She was then sent to live with blind monsters so no innocent bystander would be stoned at the side of Medusa.

Athena is remembered for her courage and porousness and even today, a modeling agency named their company after her. Athena remains a symbol of civilization, useful knowledge, novel reasoning, logic, and wisdom. The Goddess Athena reminds people to use their inner warrior and fight for what they believe in.
